Vehicles for UPARC!
UPARC has partnered with Vehicles for Charity, a division of the Metropolitan Association for Retarded Citizens, also a 501(c)(3) organization to act as an agent for all our vehicle donations. When you donate your vehicle through Vehicles for Charity, you can be assured that 100% of the net funds generated from the sale of your donated vehicle are distributed to Non-profits; the majority going to the organization designated by the donor. Instead of selling, trading or storing your vehicle, you can donate it and receive a tax deduction.
You can donate cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, recreation vehicles, campers, and more! Your donated vehicle will be picked up at no cost to you at your home or business!
You may complete the online donation form or call the donation line to donate your vehicle. When the information is complete, it is forwarded to the tow company. Typically, your vehicle will be picked up in 2-4 business days. The towing company will call you directly to schedule the pick up. At the time of the pick up, the driver will give you a receipt for taking the vehicle. We ask that you give the driver the keys and your appropriately signed title.
If you plan to deduct over $500, you will be allowed a deduction in the amount of the gross selling price of your vehicle. A Vehicles for Charity envelope will be mailed to you within 30 days of the sale of your vehicle, regarding the required IRS information you will need.You may also choose to take a deduction under $500 without written acknowledgment. The new IRS guidelines will not effect the amount of money your charity gets from the sale.
